Installing a script
Every AW script installs the same way. This page covers the steps once, the page of each script lists what is special about it.
#Before you start
- A FiveM server with OneSync (on by default on current servers).
- QBCore, Qbox or ESX. AW HUD, AW Chat and AW Notify also run standalone.
- Some scripts need a little more, for example AW Garage needs FiveM build 7290+. Check the Requirements section on the script's page.
#1. Download from the Cfx.re Portal
At checkout you log in with your Cfx.re account. After payment the script is added to that account.
- Open the Cfx.re Portal.
- Go to Granted Assets.
- Download the script.
The script shows up under the Cfx.re account you logged in with at checkout. If you do not see it, check that you are logged in with the same account.
#2. Add it to your server
Unzip the download into your resources folder.
Keep the folder name as it is (for example aw_hud), unless the script's page tells you otherwise. Do not edit the protected (escrowed) files.
#3. Start it
Add one line to your server.cfg, after your framework and the resources listed under Requirements:
ensure aw_hud
Some scripts replace a default resource (for example your old HUD or chat). The script's page tells you which one to stop.
#4. Configure
config.lua, the locales folder and the bridge folder stay open, so you can change settings, texts and framework hooks. Restart the resource after a change.
#Something does not work?
- Read the error in F8 (client) and in the server console.
- An escrowed script only runs on a server that uses a license key from the Cfx.re account that bought it.
- Still stuck? See Support.
